| Osteoporosis is a bone disorder that develops over time. Marine collagen supplementation significantly increases bone toughness by increasing the size of bones and the mineral density of weight bearing bones. This is related to its bioavailability which is estimated to be 1.5 times faster than other collagen forms. Hydrolysed Marine collagen also contains several amino acids known to protect against cell damaging free radicals. It is also known to speed-up recovery after intense exercise. Lithothamnion calcareum is derived from natural seaweed and is rich in calcium and magnesium. It also contains72 other trace minerals. Red Algae L-calcareum promotes bone mineralisation, bone formation and is used for the treatment of osteoporosis. Vitamin C is essential for collagen formation and known to increase bone density and for enhancing bone fracture healing. Vitamin C also boosts calcium absorption which is needed for healthy bone structures. Vitamin E preserves bone mass and reduces the risk of fractures.
